70s Gothic Revival Gown

Be still my cold heart! This vintage 1970s prairie dress seems to have been given a gothic makeover sometimes in the 90s. Is she a halloween costume, a wedding dress, a theatrical prop? She has the potential to be many things! Rich black ruffling on neck and sleeves with flattering bodice pleats and extra long train. Half back zipper and 6 button neck clasp.

Condition: Very good vintage. Her gothic makeover was amateur so there are some dye splotches and inconsistencies. The neck ruffling did not take the dye in some places where there appears to be adhesive. Back buttons mismatched. Overall structurally sound and a really unique piece!
