A novelty grape shirt dress with netting and bead embellishments. Lovely puff sleeves and bodice pleats. Soft, sheer cotton fabric with a comfortable, broken-in feel. The collar folds over with no top button by design. I’m not sure how to date this piece as it is very reminiscent of the 40s but the netting and beading feels a bit more modern. Perhaps an upcycled piece from the 40s, or constructed in the 80s using a 40s pattern and fabric.
