30s Painted Evening Gown
A stunning 1930s gown, black with gold and green botanical painted fabric. Dramatic puffed sleeve, fitted v-neckline and the back has smocking with velvet bow details. The dress clasps on the side bust for entry. I am not sure what the fabric is but it does not have any stretch. This amazing piece is a wounded bird and should not be considered wearable for everyday use without first addressing the flaws.
Measurements of garment, allow space for fit.
Taken flat, doubled for circumference

Condition: Decent vintage. It would make a beautiful costume or photoshoot piece. There are many flaws on this dress ranging from tiny to severe. The bust of the dress shows the most wear with holes and pulled seams. The “dress saver” pads in underarms are stained as shown in photos. This beautiful wounded bird is being sold as-is. Not all flaws have been photographed but the most noticeable are included.
